Kidney Disease in Children

While it is less common in children than adults, children do sometimes develop kidney disease. When a child recieves a diagnosis of a chronic illness, it can be a difficult time for the child and parents alike. The UNC Kidney Center, together with the UNC Pediatric Nephrology Group strives to provide families with the resources for support and education to move forward in a healthy way.
