Larry D. Keith
Garner, NC

Mr. Larry Keith completed his undergraduate studies at North Carolina A&T. He received graduate degrees at Virginia State University (MS Biology) and UNC at Chapel Hill (MS Anatomy). He is currently the Assistant Dean for Admissions and Director of Recruitment for the School of Medicine and Associate Director of the Office of Educational Development at UNC at Chapel Hill.

Mr. Keith serves on numerous committees and boards within the university as well as throughout the state and nationally. 


Cindy Morgan
Pinehurst, NC

Mrs. Cindy Morgan completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1986.  She received her master’s of science in nursing from UNC-Greensboro.  She has worked in both hands-on nursing care and in senior administrative roles. 


Mrs. Morgan has first hand experience in caring for a family member with kidney disease.  She has been very involved in volunteer work including hospice, church, public service and politics.


Daniel D. Mosca
Browns Summit, NC

Mr. Dan Mosca is the president of Advocare of North Carolina, Inc. He has served as president of the American Health Care Association (AHCA), as well as other posts within the association. He has also served as chairman of the North Carolina Health Care Facilities Association, a state affiliate of the AHCA. Mr. Mosca’s career in long term health care has spanned more than 30 years.
Dan and his wife, Beth, have been generous supporters of the Glomerular Disease Research Fund for many years. They are also very active in their local community and support a variety of organizations.


Wendell Murphy
Rose Hill, NC

Mr. Wendell Murphy in a 1960 graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in agriculture.  He served 5 terms as a state representative and then as a senator for the state of North Carolina.  He is a well known businessman and has been a commanding presence in the hog farming industry.  Mr. Murphy serves on numerous philanthropic advisory boards and supports a large number of organizations.


George and Donna Renfro
Asheville, NC

Mr. and Mrs. George Renfro have been avidly involved in community and global organizations.  They are active in the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina, the Alexis de Tocqueville Society and Reach Greece to name a few.  In addition, they have supported activities at Vanderbilt and at UNC-Chapel Hill. Part of their involvement at UNC-CH includes support of the Renfro Nephrology Endowment.


Joseph D. Russell
Wilson, NC

Dr. Joe Russell graduated from the UNC at Chapel Hill School of Medicine in 1969. He completed his residency and internship at UNC Hospitals and was the first Clinical Fellow in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at UNC.

Dr. Russell currently owns a Nephrology Practice in Wilson, NC. He is active in his community and supports a number of organizations statewide.
