Ms Sharpe serves End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) patients and their families in the Carrboro, Pittsboro, Sanford, and Siler City outpatient dialysis centers. She assists with educating patients, family members, and staff about ESRD, coordinates care from hospital to outpatient dialysis centers, and assists the renal transplant team with preparation for renal transplantation.
Ms Sharpe is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and the American Nephrology Nurses Association. She served on the NAPNAP education committee for the triangle annual conference from 2007-2010.
