Dr. Kshirsagar is interested in determining novel risk factors for Cardiovascular Disease among individuals with preexisting Chronic Kidney Disease. He focuses specifically on Periodontal Disease as a risk factor for Cardiovascular Disease. Additionally, Kshirsagar is interested in the epidemiology of hypertension and prehypertension, and the role of lipids in kidney injury.
