Dr. Hladik’s clinical interest is in the evaluation of acute and chronic kidney disease, as well as in the diagnosis and management of complex electrolyte disorders. His academic interest is in medical education. He serves as course director for the second year medical student course in kidney pathophysiology, as well as on a number of committees at UNC and nationally directed toward improving education in nephrology.
