Carolina Dialysis-Carrboro is a University of North Carolina affiliated dialysis center managed by the Renal Research Institute. 36 stations are available for in-center hemodialysis Monday through Saturday.  The center offers a home dialysis program staffed by 3 registered nurses with opportunities for both peritoneal and home hemodialysis.

The mission of Carolina-Dialysis-Carrboro is to provide end stage kidney care at the highest level in order to optimize clinical outcomes. A vascular access program has been developed to promote optimal rates of arteriovenous fistula creation and use, with access flow monitoring to facilitate preemptive vascular intervention prior to access failure. On-line clearance monitoring is used to insure maintenance of dialysis adequacy.
